The crisis center is only a few doors down. They are able to combine resources in order to make a more effective impact. Not only that, but they also emphasize how important it is to work peer-to-peer, meaning groups lead by someone who has experienced something similar. They’re also incredibly awesome people, so I’m sure they’re making an incredible difference within their community.

We all have such different stories, but we can all gain from what someone else has shared, even if their struggles are completely different than ours.
